Facundo Pellistri has shared a two-word message after Uruguay conquered Casemiro’s Brazil side.
It was a night to remember for Uruguay, and a night to forget for Brazil, as Pellistri‘s side pulled off a famous victory against their South American counterparts.
Goals from Darwin Nunez and Rodrigo de la Cruz were enough to end Brazil’s hot streak against Uruguay once and for all.
Manchester United stars Pellistri and Casemiro both featured from the off – but it was the youngster who trumped the veteran.

Pellistri shares two-word message
Taking to social media following the victory, United winger Pellistri shared a two-word message to his adoring national fans.
“VAMO URUGUAY!” the post reads, which obviously translates in English to “GO URUGUAY!”.
How did Pellistri and Casemiro fare?
Facundo obviously came out on top – but how were their individual performances?
According to the South American news site El Obsalvador – Pellistri didn’t exactly have the greatest of performances.
Facundo Pellistri: 5/10
‘Low turnout. He tried a single overflow with great movement, but the court fell short and he went wide in the first half. In the second half, he didn’t lose his level either and did a very remarkable tactical job on the wing and covering spaces.’
Globo Esporte rated Casemiro even worse.
Casemiro: 4/10
“Defensively, he tries to deploy in a 4-2-4 imposed by Fernando Diniz where he is very exposed – it is necessary to score. With the ball, however, he made unusual technical errors for a player of his level and did not participate in the ball output as in recent matches.’
‘More advanced, he was unable to continue the ball out. He had a hand in both goals. In the first, he was slow to react and saw Darwin Núñez break away to emerge free in the area and finish. In the second, he did not help Gabriel Magalhães when trying to double the marking on Darwin himself.’
Pellistri trumps Casemiro. Who’d have thought it?
