Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo is waiting for a first team opportunity in the second half of the season.
It is not a surprise to see Amad in demand. The young winger scored 16 goals on loan at Sunderland last season and would make a key difference for any side looking to sign him on loan.
Amad hoped to make an impact for Manchester United this season before an injury in pre-season saw him miss the first half of the season.
He made his comeback in the late December defeat to Nottingham Forest, but has not yet been used in Manchester United’s three matches in 2024.

Amad linked with exit
Over the past 48 hours Amad has been linked with an exit. This came after he failed to get off the bench in the FA Cup win against Newport, with contract rebel Omari Forson making it on as a substitute.
The Mirror reported how Amad then ‘liked’ a post on X from a Sunderland fan pleading with him not to waste his time on United’s bench.
A report from Football Insider today claimed Amad has pleaded with Manchester United to let him rejoin Sunderland on loan. However, this has been immediately shot down.
Update on Amad future
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Amad’s future, insisting the winger will stay put at Manchester United.
Romano writes on X: “Amad Diallo has not asked Man United to leave the club — told stories on his imminent exit on loan are not true. Diallo happy to stay, Man United want him to be part of the squad. Erik ten Hag has also been clear with Amad on his role for present and future.”
Manchester United are set to agree Facundo Pellistri‘s loan move to Granada, which will mean less competition for Amad for minutes in the second half of the campaign.
