Manchester United have seemingly got their new manager, with Ruben Amorim set to replace Erik ten Hag at the Red Devils.
After Erik ten Hag was sacked by United on Monday, there was an extremely quick turnaround. Amorim was then rumoured to be Red Devils bound not even half a day later.
The Portuguese manager was at Sporting Lisbon and United still needed to sort an exit clause – which now appears to have been paid by the Red Devils.
Manchester United fans, get excited, Ruben Amorim is Old Trafford-bound.

Fabrizio Romano all but confirms Ruben Amorim to Manchester United
Taking to X, the ever-reliable transfer guru dropped a ‘here we go’ on Amorim.
He wrote: ‘Manchester United are set to pay €10m exit clause for Rúben Amorim to become new manager, here we go! Sporting confirm formal communication received from #MUFC for Amorim to be appointed. Amorim has already said yes to Man Utd proposal and project.’
Manchester United have a new man at the helm. No pressure, Ruben.
