Ruben Amorim has been warned that his new job at AC Milan will be a difficult one.

After finishing in a disappointing fifth place in Serie A last season, AC Milan are having a revamp.

Milan have turned to former Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim to try and turn them around.

Amorim is expected to be confirmed as Milan boss over the next 48 hours. So how will he fare in Italy, after such a disastrous time at Manchester United?

He is already being warned that there is not a recipe for success in Milan.

Warning for Ruben Amorim

Ruben Amorim has been warned that the conditions at AC Milan are not conducive to success.

Former goalkeeper Simone Braglia was asked how Amorim would fare, and took a shot at the club’s disorganisation.

Braglia mocked former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for attending UFC 250 in America, while he has an important organisational role at Milan.

Braglia told TMW: “I think it’s a huge mess at AC Milan. How do you manage a club like AC Milan with one guy who’s a commentator and the other who’s at Trump’s birthday party? You have to have respect for the club you lead.

“The coach is thus overridden by the club’s management decisions. We need a Milanese spirit within the club.

“I don’t see any plans here. Whoever takes over will be in serious trouble.”

Amorim will also deal with new sporting director

Ruben Amorim is not the only hire at AC Milan. The club has decided to bring in Markus Krosche to work as sporting director.

They had been trying to land Ralf Rangnick, before the former Manchester United interim coach committed his future to stay with Austria.

Amorim’s spell at United ended up being doomed due to his fallout with director Jason Wilcox.
