Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is set to take a strong stance over striker Anthony Martial.
Anthony Martial has been present at Manchester United training at Carrington and in the USA but has been training on an individual basis.
A report via The Athletic claims Martial is set to join the first team group this week, as he steps up his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Martial suffered the hamstring injury in the final game of the season against Fulham after coming on as a substitute, and missed the FA Cup final.

Ten Hag stance on Martial
Erik ten Hag is staying wary where Anthony Martial is concerned. He was burned too many times last season.
The Athletic report Ten Hag will not select Martial at all until he is ‘convinced of his fitness’.
Last season the manager saw Martial succumb to injury on a regular basis, and at times, will have wished he eased him back in more gradually.

However, even while treating him with major caution at the end of the season, Martial still picked up this latest hamstring injury.
Many fans have given up on Martial
Many supporters would not bat an eyelid if Anthony Martial was sold this summer. It feels like he has run out of chances.
He has only one year remaining on his contract at the club, and if not for that, he would have been released.
Manchester United do need at least two first team strikers at the club this season. The club are trying to sign one, at present.
Then a decision needs to be made, whether to sell Martial, if possible, and sign a second striker.
At present the club are focused on just signing the first. After that, a decision will have to be made on Martial. Recent history suggests that as a back-up, he cannot be relied upon.
