Manchester United will hand Erik ten Hag £120 million to spend this summer, plus fees from player sales.
The Times report Ten Hag’s expected budget, and he could spend £55 million on Ajax winger Antony.
Ten Hag was confirmed as United boss on Thursday, although he will finish the season with Ajax.
United are facing a major rebuild this summer after a dreadful season.

It is possible with player sales that United could push the summer budget up towards £150 million.
Several stars including Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani will leave on a free, but others like Anthony Martial could be sold.
United need to strengthen in several positions, from defence, to midfield and attack.
With Ten Hag now appointed, United can get on with pursuing transfer targets, able to show players a sense of direction.
Persuading Antony could be straightforward, with the Brazilian winger having 20 goal involvements for Ajax this season under Ten Hag.
Despite the spending plans, United hope Ten Hag can improve the team’s under performing players, putting his coaching skills to good use.
The club reportedly have no plans to pursue Declan Rice amid West Ham’s asking price of £150 million.
Kalvin Phillips is named in the report as a target, although it is unclear if Leeds could be persuaded to sell.
