Erik ten Hag is set to allow Manchester United youngster Ethan Galbraith to leave the club on a free in June.
According to Manchester World, Northern Irish midfielder is set to leave United this summer. The 21-year-old’s contract expires at the end of next month, with an optional extra year available.
The club have however decided against extending his deal. With the feeling being there is little chance of drawing a significant fee for Galbraith.
Along with this Galbraith finds himself below several young midfielders in the pecking order. This a huge reason as to why the club are willing to let him go.

Therefore the academy graduate set to leave for free with up to four clubs chasing his signature.
Among the interested clubs, Premier League rivals Newcastle United, with an immediate loan expected should he head to Tyne side.
Galbraith also has reported interest from Stoke, Sunderland and Derby. However, the youngster favours a move which will grant him first team football.
Ethan Galbraith’s career to date
Galbraith joined United aged 15 and progressed through the youth teams before making his senior debut against Astana in 2019.

Galbraith has had several loan moves in his early career to date. The most recent of which being this season which he has spent on loan at Salford. Making 32 appearances for the Manchester based side along with four goals.
Galbraith spent the 2021/22 season at Doncaster Rovers on-loan where he made 36 appearances. Due to his promising performances at this level, he likely is ready for a step up.
While he likely won’t make it at United, Galbraith has a young and promising career ahead of him in the English football league and beyond.
