Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has conducted his pre-match press conference ahead of the derby clash with Manchester City.
Ten Hag, who has just been named Manager of the Month for September, spoke to the press ahead of United’s return to action.
He was asked for an injury update ahead of the game and said that Harry Maguire is ruled out. He picked up an injury for England against Germany on Monday but limped through the remainder of the game.
Ten Hag also said that Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford could both return after a recent period of absence through injury.

Ten Hag press conference before Manchester City clash
“The situation is that Harry Maguire is injured,” said Ten Hag.
“For the rest, we have some doubts with Anthony Martial but he was training all week with the group, so we are really happy with that situation and he is performing really well in training.
“He makes a good impression. Rashford returns into training so also we are happy with that.
“For the rest, only the long term injuries like Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams; they are not available.”
All Martial has been able to offer this season is 45 minutes against Liverpool as a substitute.
He performed really well in that game, just as he did in pre-season but fitness has been the issue and it would be a boost to have him back here.
Whenever he does come back, he needs to string a run of games together, and Rashford cannot afford any more injury setbacks either if he wants to get into the England squad for the World Cup.
Maguire was unlikely to play anyway but of course this injury problem hampers his hopes of more gametime with his England place under threat too.
