Erik Ten Hag has praised Bruno Fernandes‘ form this season ahead of Manchester United’s massive Premier League clash against Newcastle United this Sunday.

Speaking to the club’s official website, the Red Devils manager lauded the Portuguese international’s impact in the squad after the midfielder was named United’s Player of the Month for March having scored three goals and bagging one assist.

With Fernandes and the rest of United’s stars back in Carrington and ready to take on Newcastle at St. James Park, the former Sporting Lisbon star has the chance to secure a top-four spot in the coming Premier League fixtures, where three points this Sunday could be season-defining.

“In possession, he is always available to receive the ball. He is always an option and almost every time, he has the right solution. I am so happy with Bruno in my team, and I think he’s made a massive improvement during the season, and I hope he can continue this.”
