Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has talked up midfielder Casemiro after another excellent performance for the Red Devils.
Casemiro played a key role in United’s 1-0 win over West Ham, keeping yet another clean sheet.
Ten Hag was asked about him on Sky Sports after the game, and was keen to praise his contribution.

Ten Hag talks up Casemiro
Ten Hag said: “For me, he’s been brilliant. You can see why he’s won five Champions League trophies.”
United paid £60 million to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid and he has established himself as a regular in the starting XI, a player Ten Hag is now very reluctant to drop.
He plays a key role in shielding United’s defence, playing with a combination of smart positioning, decisive action, and aggression.
Sky pundit Jamie Redknapp lauded him as ‘excellent’ after the game, adding, “Casemiro’s a big player for the team, he makes such a difference defensively.”
Casemiro made eight ball recoveries in midfield, four clearances, and one interception, touching the ball 75 times.
He was the player Manchester United had been crying out for, and that adds to the appreciation fans have for his ability and skill set.
West Ham put United under real pressure late in the game, and it was a real team performance to dig in and get all three points, with Casemiro at the heart of it.
