Erik ten Hag has backed Rasmus Hojlund to succeed at Old Trafford as the Danish forward is currently going through a bit of a goal drought.
The Danish striker featured against the side for which he made his professional debut three years ago but struggled to be on the end of chances for Manchester United.
Rasmus Hojlund hasn’t scored since matchday two in the Champions League but remains a dangerous threat for the opposition defenders.
Erik ten Hag, speaking after the dramatic win over Copenhagen, heaped praise on the 20-year-old and expected the goals to flow for the youngster soon.

Ten Hag on Hojlund
“I think he’s a player who will always be in scoring positions in our team. I am sure, and I am confident he will score goals,” Ten Hag said when speaking to Forbes after the game.
“First of all, we have to work our routines, he missed pre-season, the first four games, but I think from the moment he came in, he gave the team a lot.
“We’re building the routines and that split moment will give him more time and to make better decisions for more goals.”
It seems just a matter of time before the goals start flowing for the Danish forward.
Hojlund’s play
Aside from the goals, Hojlund has certainly looked promising in every game he has played for the Red Devils.
His play with his back to goal, as well as his ability to find teammates with his passes certainly offers United something different to Anthony Martial.
Hojlund seems to have a good relationship with Marcus Rashford and the English winger may well be the only player who has created any chances for the young forward.
Bruno Fernandes, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho, when he is summoned from the bench, need to feed the 20-year-old when they can because, at the moment, the former Atalanta striker is living off scraps.
