After Manchester United suffered a dismal 3-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, the attention will now turn to the beginning of the UEFA Champions League.
It’s a tough start for United as they take on Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena and the Red Devils will be hoping for a good start in the league.
United currently have multiple players out either injured or away from the club for disciplinary issues and the team are in a bit of a crisis at the moment.
Erik ten Hag was asked for updates on the injured players ahead of the crucial clash in Munich.

‘One player could return’
Speaking to the United website, Ten Hag gave a positive update about the injured players and said one player could well return to the squad.
“Maybe, maybe one player, but I think Munich is a little bit too short,” said the Dutch manager in what would be a timely boost as the fixtures finally become slightly easier.
As well as this the Dutchman said: “But I think, when we go to Burnley in the week after, I think players will return, yes.”
Who could return next week
United have so many injury issues as things stand. It seems unlikely that Luke Shaw or Tyrell Malacia could be the players Ten Hag was referring to as the pairs injuries seem long term.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Sofyan Amrabat and Mason Mount may well be the pair who return for the Bayern Munich or the Burnley clash next week in what would be a timely boost for Ten Hag.
Amrabat, who joined the club on loan on deadline day, could be the defensive steel and the ball-playing security that United have been missing.
Mount, according to The Athletic, has targeted Wednesday’s game against Bayern as a date for his return and he will be hoping to finally make an impact for United.
