Donny van de Beek sends message to United fans after derby day loss

The biggest cheer of the day from the Manchester United fans at Old Trafford came when Donny van de Beek was stripped ready to come on.

The Dutchman made it back-to-back cameo appearances following his impressive midweek display at Atalanta.

The 24-year-old came on for Fred against Manchester City in the 80th minute when his side were trailing Pep Guardiola’s side 2-0.

Just like Jadon Sancho, fans have been calling for the former Ajax man to get more game time.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brought on his £35m (BBC Sport) signing when the atmosphere inside the Theatre of Dreams had been decimated, after the United faithful had to contend with another comprehensive loss, against one of our fiercest rivals.

Van de Beek made his first Premier League appearance since September and he sent a short message to the United fans after the game.

With the Dutchman out-of-favour in the national side under Louis van Gaal, the midfielder will once again be targeting the international break to impress Solskjaer at Carrington.

With Paul Pogba serving the final game of his three-match domestic suspension against Watford, Solskjaer has surely got to give United’s number 34 a rare Premier League start at Vicarage Road.
