Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been pictured training with Everton for the first time since completing his loan move.

The Dutch international completed his loan move to the Toffees until the end of the season on deadline day.

The 24-year-old will be playing under former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard who has been appointed the new manager at Goodison Park, following the sacking of Rafa Benitez.

Van de Beek will be wearing shirt number 30 for Everton, the number he wore during his time at Dutch giants Ajax.

The midfielder was pictured training at Finch Farm for the first time today alongside fellow new signing Dele Alli.

The former Ajax man isn’t eligible to feature in Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round clash against Brentford after he came off the bench in United’s third round win against Aston Villa.

United’s £35m signing (BBC Sport) will have to wait until Tuesday to make his Everton debut, when the blue half of Merseyside travel to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United.

With no Premier League starts to his name this season at United, a change of scenery could ignite van de Beek’s career in England.

After not finding a role in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Michael Carrick or Ralf Rangnick’s United sides, van de Beek is likely to get more chances to prove himself under Lampard.

The conversation with Lampard had a huge bearing on van de Beek’s decision to join the Toffees.

Despite Everton’s best efforts, Manchester United refused to included a buy option in the loan deal.

Donny van de Beek will no doubt be hoping to make his time at Everton success and then proving himself under the next permanent Manchester United manager.
