Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot is still close pals with Portugal international teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
When Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United just under a year ago, there was one Manchester United player more upset than any other.
Defender Diogo Dalot had struck up a bond with the Manchester United legend, with the pair close on and off the pitch.
The one consolation for Dalot is he still gets a chance to spend time with Ronaldo on international duty for Portugal.

Dalot and Ronaldo
Diogo Dalot and Cristiano Ronaldo are in action tomorrow night in the Euro 2024 qualifiers when they take on Slovakia, looking to maintain their 100 per cent record.
Until the game, there is a lot of preparation and waiting around, and Dalot has shown a glimpse behind the scenes.
The Manchester United defender shared a picture on his Instagram story feed with Ronaldo, who was busy on his phone.
Dalot wrote a lightly mocking message of the 38-year-old, ‘This new generation always on the phone’.

Dalot said players would have welcomed Ronaldo stay
Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to leave Manchester United was a huge talking point last year when his second spell at the club came to an end.
Dalot admitted to O Jogo, this summer that the squad would have been content for him to stay.
He said: “We know the quality that Cristiano brings, it was a mutual decision to take different paths and we just have to accept it.
“We wanted Cristiano to be with us. we tried to make the most of the time it was in and it still gave us a lot. We have to live with the decision that was made, look forward and with the weapons we have continue to fight.”
