Bruno Fernandes scored his third goal of the season for Manchester United in the win over Aston Villa.
Fernandes’ effort took a big deflection off Tyrone Mings, giving goalkeeper Robin Olsen no chance.
Old Trafford celebrated all the same as United took a 3-2 lead, having trailed twice, with Fernandes delighted to get back on the scoresheet.
With Fernandes celebrating a ‘good night’ in a post-game Instagram message, it became clear one of his teammates was not very impressed with his strike.

David de Gea mocks Bruno Fernandes goal
David de Gea sat the game out to give Martin Dubravka a debut in goal, watching from the sidelines, and he had words for Fernandes after the game.
Responding to Fernandes’ message, De Gea sarcastically congratulated his teammate on a ‘great goal’.
Fernandes replied to say he was deliberately going for the deflection to take it into the back of the net.

The exchange was in good spirits and demonstrates the positivity in the United squad, which helped the team to bounce back from going behind twice against Villa.
United are now into the fourth round of the cup against Championship side Burnley, another match which will be held at Old Trafford.
With Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham already eliminated, and Liverpool and Manchester City facing off in the next round, the competition is opening up nicely for United.
