With Manchester United playing pre-season across the world in rainy Perth, Cristiano Ronaldo appears like he could not be less interested.
The Portuguese star is in his homeland after failing to report for pre-season tour.
Ronaldo sent a message at half-time of United’s pre-season friendly against Villa, making no reference to the team, instead posting pictures of himself working out.
United fans on tour in Thailand and Australia were left disappointed by Ronaldo’s no-show.
BBC Sport report Ronaldo wants to leave United, although the club’s official stance states he is away for family reasons.
There is no sign of this being resolved, with reports continuing to link Ronaldo with a future away from the club.

United’s pre-season game against Villa began well in poor conditions, with Jadon Sancho giving the lead before Marcus Rashford forced an own goal which doubled it.
The game ended 2-2, with a lack of striking depth exposed after United took off Anthony Martial.
Without Ronaldo, United have played well in pre-season, and have a refreshed new look. But if Ronaldo is not interested in playing, then new signings are required.
If he wants to play a part this season then he has a lot of making up to do.
