Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to Manchester United’s 1-0 win against West Ham United at Old Trafford this evening.
Erik ten Hag handed the 37-year-old his third Premier League start of the season against the Hammers, and he completed the 90 minutes in the top-flight for just the second time during the 2022-23 campaign.
Prior to today, Ronaldo’s only other 90 minutes this season in the Premier League came back in August when the Red Devils were battered 4-0 at Brentford.
Having been dropped for last Saturday’s draw at Chelsea by Ten Hag after refusing to come on against Tottenham Hotspur and then leaving Old Trafford early, United’s number seven was back in Premier League action.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford send messages after Manchester United’s 1-0 win against West Ham

The former Juventus man missed two good chances in the second half to double United’s lead, but Ronaldo was unable to score his 702nd goal in club football.
But it was refreshing to see how hard Ronaldo worked out of possession, and Portugal’s captain was leading the press and working hard for the team.
Ronaldo looks refocused after his brief spell out of the side, and it looks like Marcus Rashford maybe learning a thing or two from the Portuguese superstar when it comes to timing his jump and scoring towering headers.
Rashford and Ronaldo look to be linking up well up front and the pair will likely be in Ten Hag’s starting line-up for Thursday’s Europa League showdown against Real Sociedad in San Sebastian.
Manchester United extended their unbeaten run to eight games across all competitions and Ronaldo maybe warming to the idea that Ten Hag could be the man to rekindle the glory days at Old Trafford.
Following the win against the Hammers, Ronaldo posted on Instagram to react to his side’s win.
Rashford who scored his 100th goal for the Red Devils with a bullet header also posted on Instagram after the game.
