Manchester United survived conceding a late penalty against Copenhagen and emerged with a 1-0 win.
Andre Onana saved an injury time penalty to secure a 1-0 win for Manchester United against Copenhagen.
Onana’s penalty save was absolutely brilliant. A superb stop, labelled by teammate Harry Maguire as a ‘high level penalty save’, speaking post-game to MUTV.
But there may have been a little help, with some dark arts from Alejandro Garnacho, who was seen scuffing up the penalty spot before Jordan Larsson stepped up to take the spot kick.

Copenhagen’s Claesson unhappy with Alejandro Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho’s actions were not spotted by the Copenhagen players at the time, who were too busy surrounding the referee.
After learning of Garnacho messing up the penalty spot, Copenhagen captain Victor Claesson was not impressed.
Claesson told Bold.dk: “It’s unsportsmanlike. It’s not something I stand for or would do, but if he’s done it, he’s done it.”
He did add that he did not believe it influenced the outcome, adding: “I don’t think that was what decided whether he missed or scored.”
The incident was also pointed out to manager Jacob Neestrup, but he told Tipsbladet: “I have neither seen it nor heard about it.”
Garnacho may find himself in for a few jeers when Manchester United travel to Copenhagen in a fortnight.
Copenhagen star ‘speechless’
Copenhagen are feeling a little hard done by right now after losing to both Manchester United and Bayern Munich by a single goal, and now at the bottom of the group.
Lukas Lerager told Bold.dk: “I am speechless right now. It’s hard, it really is. When we can’t win a day like this here, we have to take a draw in the end.
“It’s annoying, because all our performances have been for points, but we only have one and are last in the group now.”
