Eventually, the two clubs came to an agreement and now Onana has flown to England to make the deal official.

A new era begins at Manchester United
After twelve years with De Gea between the sticks, United will now finally see a new shot-stopper in goal at Old Trafford.
It really does mark the start of a new era, with a new style of football. So much was scrutinized about the ability of the Spaniard with his feet. This meant that United were really lagging behind the times of modern-day football.
Onana has bags of footballing ability, as well as being a phenomenal goalkeeper. This could redefine the way United play entirely.
This summer has gone swimmingly so fat. Let’s hope more are on the way!
