Manchester United line-up v Rayo Vallecano

The former Ajax boss had already confirmed that the team who started yesterday’s 1-0 defeat against Atletico Madrid in Oslo, Norway, would not be considered for selection against the fellow Spanish side.
The big news is that new signings Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen will make their home debuts for the Red Devils.
Eriksen came off the bench and had an impressive 20-minute cameo against Diego Simeone’s Atletico yesterday.
Martinez was an unused substitute against the Spanish giants and the Argentine looks set to line-up alongside Raphael Varane in the heart of United’s defence.

With no Bruno Fernandes in the side, Eriksen will be able to showcase his qualities while playing in his favoured attacking midfielder role.
Alongside United’s new signings, Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the line for Ten Hag’s side which will be the 37-year-old’s first minutes in pre-season.
Speculation continues to surround the legendary number seven’s future as his agent Jorge Mendes continues to chase Champions League club suitors for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
But with the Reds maintaining the stance that Ronaldo isn’t for sale, minutes in the tank for the Portuguese captain will be crucial ahead of next Sunday’s Premier League opener.
