We had predicted several changes to the United side after a depressing start to the season last week. The big news is Scott McTominay being dropped and Cristiano Ronaldo returning.

United lost that game 2-1 with the Red Devils scoring through an own goal in the second half after conceding two in the first 45 minutes.

This poor start to the season has led to an unhappy week for United supporters, and it is crucial to get back to winning ways.

This won’t be easy against a determined Brentford side, and United are out of practice when it comes to winning. The team have lost every single Premier League away game played since the victory at Leeds in February.

This game is followed by a home match with Liverpool, and United won’t want to go into that game without any points.
