The draw for the fourth round of the 2023/24 Carabao Cup has taken place, with Manchester United involved.
Manchester United have been drawn at home again, this time to face Newcastle United, a repeat of last year’s final.
The fourth round will take place in the week commencing October 30. There will then be a quarter-final in December.
Manchester United reached the fourth round by beating Crystal Palace 3-0 at Old Trafford earlier this week.

Defending champions
Manchester United are defending champions after Erik ten Hag‘s side beat Newcastle in the final at Wembley in February 2023.
United reached the final with wins against Aston Villa, Burnley, Charlton Athletic, and Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils have won the League Cup six times in total – and are looking for a seventh this season.
Who else is in the Carabao Cup
There are some notable teams knocked out already, Tottenham were eliminated in the second round.
Brighton are also out, along with Aston Villa, while most notably Manchester City are now eliminated too – they were beaten 1-0 at Newcastle earlier tonight, whose rewards is a trip to Old Trafford.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle and West Ham are still among the big sides left in the competition. And Chelsea, if you can count them nowadays.
