Manchester United will play their second pre-season friendly on Friday evening against Rosenborg.
The 2026 pre-season tour began with Manchester United losing 1-0 against Wrexham, but Michael Carrick would have been happy to leave Helsinki without any fresh injuries after naming two different teams for either half.
United take on Rosenborg at the Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim. The ground has a capacity of 21,405, making it the second-largest football stadium in Norway.
United fans in Trondheim will be hoping to see a mixture of youth and experience when the Reds play on Norwegian soil for the first time since 2024.

Man Utd fans to get a glimpse of JJ Gabriel
After being given extended leave, United starlet JJ Gabriel did not travel to Helsinki last week.
The 15-year-old, who has yet to make his debut for United, has been named in the travelling squad for Friday’s game in Norway.
It will be a chance for fans in Norway to see the talented youngster in action up close, with excitement already building over when Gabriel will be handed his debut in a competitive match.
This will be another huge year for Gabriel’s development.
