Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has been talking up defender Lisandro Martinez.
Denmark ace Christian Eriksen demonstrated his supreme quality last night with two assists in an international win.
The midfielder also supplied a defence-cutting pass against Arsenal at the weekend to set up Marcus Rashford to score.
Eriksen led United for assists last season before his injury, before Bruno Fernandes overtook him.

Christian Eriksen names Lisandro Martinez as United’s best passer
Speaking to Manchester United’s website, Christian Eriksen was asked who he considered as the best passed in the team.
He did not name last season’s assist leader and club captain Fernandes, and instead chose a defender, Lisandro Martinez.
Eriksen explained: “I would say a lot of the midfield and centre-backs. I will say Licha or Case [Casemiro], one of those two – I’ll go Licha.

“It’s how football has evolved, fewer long balls – everyone really wants to build up from the back and try to create something from there. With that, you need good passers, and we definitely have a lot of good passers.”
Key reason United signed Martinez
Manchester United signed Lisandro Martinez for his defensive qualities. But that was only half of it.
Erik ten Hag wanted a defender capable of passing the ball out from the back well, who is confident in possession, and Martinez was top of his list.
Eriksen is one of the players who regularly receives the ball from Martinez, and he sees first-hand just how good the Argentine is.
We all knew Martinez was a strong passer, but to hear Eriksen select him as the best at the club, speaks volumes for just how good he really is.
