Christian Eriksen did something ‘unbelievable’ in Crystal Palace defeat, only 155 players have ever done it

Manchester United lost to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.

It was, again, a game to forget for the Red Devils. Manchester United did not have many good performers against Crystal Palace as they ran out 2-0 losers.

Ruben Amorim’s side lacked goal threat once again, which is a recurring issue this season that unfortunately wasn’t addressed in the January transfer window.

The Manchester United squad in general is lacking, and that’s from the starting XI to the bench. One of the subs on the day, who maybe is no longer up to par, is Christian Eriksen – who achieved something quite sensational despite the loss against the Eagles.

Christian Eriksen hits 300 Premier League appearances

After coming off the bench in the 87th minute of the game, Eriksen made his 300th appearance in the Premier League.

This has spanned across three clubs for the Dane, Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford and, of course, Manchester United.

Eriksen reacted to this monumental milestone on his Instagram story, stating it was ‘unbelievable’ and he was ‘proud’ to have achieved this feat.

As he should be, not many can say they’ve done it.

Eriksen joins elite group in the Premier League

According to My Football Facts – only 155 players, 156 with Eriksen, have 300 or more Premier League appearances.

Jonny Evans is the only current Manchester United player to also be involved, whilst the group includes Red Devils legends such as Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and many more.

How many more Premier League appearances Eriksen makes remains to be seen. The Dane’s contract at United is up in the summer, and chances are, it won’t be renewed.
