Manchester United were beaten 1-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday as Ruben Amorim continues to struggle for attacking quality.
Ruben Amorim saw Manchester United beat Lyon 5-4 on Thursday night, producing a rousing fightback late in the game.
United weren’t able to take that into Sunday’s clash with Wolves, failing to find the net in another Old Trafford defeat.
Wolves beat United 1-0 with Pablo Sarabia – one of Amorim’s former players at Sporting – scoring the only goal.
United’s full focus may now be on the Europa League, but another Premier League defeat is a huge disappointment.
Amorim may feel that he doesn’t have the players in the final third to change a game, but may soon have to make a decision on Jadon Sancho‘s future.

Enzo Maresca on Jadon Sancho’s Chelsea omission
Sancho remains on loan at Chelsea having been let go by Erik ten Hag before the summer transfer deadline.
The winger has blown hot and cold at Chelsea, and was left on the bench against Fulham on Sunday.
Sancho came off the bench at half-time to help Chelsea turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 victory.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has explained his decision to leave Sancho out, telling BBC Sport that the United loanee is ‘doing well’.
However, Chelsea have so many other wingers with Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto and Tyrique George vying for places.
George and Neto scored the goals for Chelsea against Fulham, with Maresca noting that it’s easy for him to change his options out wide because everybody is playing well.
Sancho missed out on a starting role on Sunday, but will hope for another chance to shine very soon.
“He is doing well but at this moment we have him, Madueke and Pedro Neto, and also Tyrique who can play wide,” said Maresca.
“In this moment they are all good so it is easy for me to decide but also easy to change because the ones who are out are doing well,” he added.
Jadon Sancho on Chelsea win
Sancho took to Instagram to react after Sunday’s 2-1 win, simply starting ‘until the end!’.
Neto responded by calling Sancho ‘Jadinho’ with the wide man catching the eye for Chelsea.
Sancho’s long-term future remains unclear, though, with a return to United still a possibility.
Chelsea can pay £5million to send Sancho back to Old Trafford, rather than turn his move permanent.
Sancho has been linked with Borussia Dortmund, but much will depend on whether Chelsea decide to keep Sancho or let him go.
Amorim has yet to interact with Sancho at United, but may yet have a decision to make on his future if Chelsea send him back to Old Trafford – especially as United lack attacking options.
