Charlton Athletic captain George Dobson has labelled Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford “a frightening talent”.
Rashford has scored in all five of Manchester United’s matches following the domestic season’s resumption after the World Cup.
Having endured a difficult campaign last season, the 25-year-old looks rejuvenated under Erik ten Hag and he’s scored 13 goals and laid on six assists from 24 matches across all competitions this season.
Rashford has scored in his last seven matches at Old Trafford, and the 51-time England international will be targeting an eighth when the Busby Babes host the Addicks in tonight’s Carabao Cup quarter-final clash.
Charlton Athletic captain George Dobson labels Marcus Rashford a “frightening talent”

Dobson, who came through the ranks at Arsenal, played against Rashford at under-16s level during his academy days with the Gunners.
Charlton’s skipper was full of praise for United’s in-form number ten ahead of tonight’s Carabao Cup last-eight clash.
Speaking ahead of the quarter-final tie, Dobson said: “I remember playing against him and just thinking how sharp he was – the pace he had and obviously he broke through when he did and he’s gone on to become the player he is.
“He’s a frightening talent and really on the top of his game at the minute, and if he is playing he’s definitely going to be someone we focus on trying to stop.”
Charlton, who sit 12th in League One, knocked out Brighton & Hove Albion on penalties in the fourth round with an inspired display at The Valley.
Anthony Hayes was in charge of the Addicks for the shock win against Roberto De Zerbi’s Seagulls.
But Dean Holden replaced Hayes last month and he’s won two of his four matches in charge of the former Premier League side.
United will be hoping to avoid a shock and book their place in the Carabao Cup semi-finals with a convincing win against the Londoners.
