Erik ten Hag has surpassed 50 matches in charge of Manchester United, prompting praise from some of his key players.
To mark this occasion on the Official club website, three of the club’s best have sung the praises of the Dutchman’s management.
Ten Hag has made it clear from day one that he expects to raise the levels at United back to where they belong.

Casemiro commented on this, saying that ten Hag expects a lot from his players and searches for ‘perfection’.
“He demands a lot from us, he’s a very demanding manager. He strives for perfection.”
The Brazilian international continued, “He’s the type of manager who wants the players to always perform to their best. It is important for us to have a manager who always wants to win and doesn’t accept anything less than that.”
Eriksen and Rashford on ten Hag
Casemiro wasn’t the only player waxing lyrical about the boss, Christian Eriksen added that ten Hag offers a balance of freedom and structure.
“He will help guide the players in which direction where he wants the players to be.”
The Danish midfielder continued, “But he’s given a lot of cues and he also gives a lot of freedom to the players to do what they can.”
One of biggest benefactors of ten Hag’s arrival to date has been Marcus Rashford. The in-form Englishman has 28 goals and 10 assists this season.
Therefore he was full of praise for his manager, in what has been his most prolific season thus far. Citing the collective attitude as one of the biggest changes from the previous regime.
“I just think everyone’s willing to fight for the person next to them and that’s how it has to be.
“If someone makes a mistake, you have to be there to cover. You work as a team and as a collective rather than individuals.”

He added that the tacticians impact has been huge, despite it taking time to adapt.
“He’s had a big impact. A lot of changes. It takes time to adapt. For him and for the players as well.”
After 50 games, ten Hag has the highest win percentage of any United boss at 70%. Here’s to the next 50.
