Manchester United pair Casemiro and Matheus Cunha led Brazil to a 5-0 win.

Casemiro captained Brazil for the 17th time against South Korea on Friday, as he continues to embrace his leadership role under national team manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The 33-year-old registered an assist when Rodrygo made it 2-0 in the friendly before half-time.

Brazil, who will be competing at the World Cup next year, kicked on in the second half, and Casemiro also played a role in the fourth goal by getting the ball further forward to Vinicius Júnior, who assisted Rodrygo for his brace.

The Seleção went on to win 5-0 thanks to a brilliant counter-attacking goal late in the match.

Casemiro kept complete control of the match in the centre of the pitch throughout the game.

How Matheus Cunha performed

Matheus Cunha also provided an assist in Brazil’s win over South Korea, setting up Vinicius Jr for their fifth and final goal.

The former Wolves star got into good positions, linked up with his teammates and drew several fouls to keep Brazil high up the pitch.

Cunha created more chances than any other player on the pitch.

United’s new signing is still getting back to full fitness after being injured, which helps explain why he didn’t play the entire match like Casemiro.

The biggest positive for United is that Cunha and Casemiro both came away from the game without any injury setbacks.
