Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes is closing in on a new contract, according to reports form his native Portugal.
O Jogo claim that a full agreement between United and Bruno is very close.
They say that talks between the club and Fernandes’ representative Miguel Pinho have recently ramped up and it is now almost certain that the midfielder will commit his future to the club.

This is good news for United at a time when it is badly needed after the Champions League exit at the hands of Atletico Madrid.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano said in January that he expected Bruno to pen a longer term deal before the end of 2022 and hopefully, we will not need to wait too much longer.
The report says that the new deal will run until 2027, with his current contract expiring in 2025.
It will also reflect the status he has taken on in the side, with the report claiming he will be earning a salary on par with Paul Pogba.

They say that represents an annual salary of around 15 million euros (£12.5 million), with Cristiano Ronaldo United’s leading earner on over 20 million euros (£16.7 million) per year.
Pogba is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer as a free agent anyway, which could go some way to offsetting the cost of Bruno’s new deal.
That said, the Frenchman will need to be replaced if he does, and with the likes of Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Jesse Lingard also looking likely to do, two midfielders may be required this summer.
Tying down Bruno is an important step, regardless who the next manager is, because he has been so important to United since his arrival in January 2020.
