Erik ten Hag has officially parted ways with Manchester United, and just like that the Dutchman’s era is over.
Manchester United confirmed on Monday Ten Hag was sacked, following yet another dismal Premier League performance against West Ham.
United fans reacted to Ten Hag’s sacking in a clear way – things must get better moving forward. The players will be feeling the same.
That includes club captain Bruno Fernandes, who broke the silence first from the United first-team squad.

Bruno Fernandes on Erik ten Hag Manchester United sacking
Fernandes immediately took to Instagram, to send a message to his former boss.
‘Thanks for everything boss! I appreciate the trust and the moments we share together, I wish you all the best in the future.’
‘Even knowing the last period isn’t been great from all of us I hope you fans can keep with you the good things the manager as done for our club!’
It’s over for Bruno and Ten Hag. Now United will now look for a new manager but was it the correct decision?
Were Manchester United right to sack Erik ten Hag?
It really is a tough one. On one hand, Ten Hag has given Manchester United moments to last a lifetime. The FA Cup Final win, the Carabao Cup triumph and THAT cup semi-final vs Liverpool.
However, the fact of the matter is that results are not good enough in the present day. Particularly in the league, it’s been abysmal.
With important fixtures coming up, it was probably do-or-die for Ineos.
