Manchester United fans have been voting in the monthly polls for player and goal of the month, with Brazilian duo Casemiro and Matheus Cunha coming out on top.
Winning two of a possible three matches in April, it proved to be an important month for Manchester United, as the Red Devils made a giant step towards securing a spot in the Champions League.
There was one setback in April as United suffered a 2-1 defeat against Leeds at Old Trafford on the night Lisandro Martinez was sent off for a slight tug on Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hair.
When it comes to individuals, a few players stood out, but United fans have now had their say on the best performer and their favourite goal from April.

Casemiro wins Man Utd Player of the Month award
Casemiro will leave United at the end of the season when his contract expires, but he will not be leaving without having made a positive impact on Michael Carrick’s side.
The 34-year-old helped United in wins over Chelsea and Brentford in the Premier League, which has the team sitting third in the standings with four games left to play.
Casemiro scored a goal against the latter as he left the pitch teary-eyed following a warm ovation from the Old Trafford faithful, who sang about wanting him to stay another year.
In United’s Player of the Month poll, voted by the fans, Casemiro took 44% of the votes, as per ManUtd.com.
Bruno Fernandes came second with 38%, while Kobbie Mainoo finished third on 19%.

Matheus Cunha strike against Chelsea wins Goal of the Month
Matheus Cunha was rewarded for his efforts in April, too.
The forward was voted the winner of the Goal of the Month award for his effort against Chelsea.
Cunha saw off competition with 49% of the vote despite competition from Benjamin Sesko, after scoring against Brentford, as well as Casemiro’s two goals.
It won’t be long until the player of the year is announced.
