Sergio Reguilon was seriously impressive against Chelsea mid-week, to the point that he could have Tyrell Malacia fearing for his future.
Erik ten Hag saw his side put in arguably the performance of the season so far against Chelsea on Wednesday.
From minute one to 90, Manchester United were the better team of the two and honestly, were unfortunate not to see a bigger scoreline with Alejandro Garnacho having a handful of chances to find the back of the net in a strong performance from him.
However, one of the most encouraging signs was the work both full-backs were putting in up and down the pitch.
Diogo Dalot for the 90 minutes on the right and then Sergio Reguilon on the left were so dangerous and can take a lot of credit for the result.

United journalist, Carl Anka, was full of praise for Manchester United’s full-backs after the Chelsea win at Old Trafford, as he raved on the Talk of the Devils podcast on Thursday.
“One thing that was good against Chelsea and I want Ten Hag to repeat against Bournemouth is when it’s the press, so keep the same front three as against Chelsea but also that the full-backs jumped up. This is the big difference between good performances and great performances from United under Ten Hag.
“Do the full-backs join the press along with everyone else and there were two or three moments against Chelsea where we saw Dalot get up, and Shaw tried to get up in the first half but we looked a lot better when Reguilon came on.”
Anka then began his huge praise of Reguilon in which he suggested £13m man Tyrell Malacia could be left sweating over his place.
“That was probably the best I’ve seen Reguilon in a Manchester United shirt, not saying his loan deal should be made permanent but if you’re Malacia, if you’re Alvaro Fernandez, I’m sure when you get back into Carrington, Ten Hag’s probably going to say ‘I need you to do this a lot more.'”

Reguilon is just on loan at Manchester United right now, however, the Red Devils are paying the Spanish defender a salary of £53k-a-week which works out at £2.76m for his season-long loan according to Capology.
If United decide to make his move permanent at the end of this season, it would be expected that he’d be on a similar wage which is a bargain in this day and age.
Reguilon has enjoyed a solid season for United thus far and has rarely let Erik ten Hag down when called upon, definitely money well spent at this stage.
