Who is Manchester United’s best manager since Sir Alex Ferguson?
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘interested’ in Man Utd return
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently out of work after being sacked as Besiktas manager earlier this season. It was his first job since departing Manchester United in 2021.
Now it has emerged that Solskjaer is interested in a shock return to Manchester United to replace Ruben Amorim.
Now according to Manchester World, Solskjaer is interested in returning to Manchester United in a caretaker capacity.

Solskjaer was first hired as a caretaker coach in 2019 after Mourinho was sacked, before being hired on a permanent basis.
He was then sacked in 2021, months after losing the Europa League Final to Villarreal.
Solskjaer did not win a trophy during his time at United, but did lead the team to a second-placed Premier League finish in 2019/20.

United going with Darren Fletcher for now
Manchester United are taking their time to hire another permanent coach, and have promoted Darren Fletcher from under-18s coach to interim charge.
All things being well, Fletcher would stay on until the end of the season.
However, if Fletcher starts badly, Ineos could very well consider adding an extra-helping hand or replacing him altogether.
Could this involve Solskjaer being parachuted in for a second spell?
All things considered, it is more likely than it was that he was ever appointed for a first spell. With this club, you cannot rule it out.
