Benjamin Sesko’s dramatic shift in minutes per goal rate since Ruben Amorim was fired is truly elite

Benjamin Sesko has a minutes per goal rate that is making him hard to leave on the sidelines.

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick is yet to give Benjamin Sesko his first start. This may change very soon.

Sesko came off the bench against Everton to score the winning goal, following up his late equaliser against West Ham in the previous game. He also recently scored an injury time winner over Fulham.

Benjamin Sesko’s turnaround has been pretty stunning! Should he start the next game?

Sesko averaging goal every 46 minutes

Benjamin Sesko is averaging a goal every 46 minutes in a Manchester United shirt over the past seven matches he has played.

These include his appearances under Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick.

Beforehand, Sesko had been struggling under Ruben Amorim and scored only two goals in 16 appearances, averaging a goal every 502 minutes.

It is a dramatic turnaround and shows the confidence and form Sesko is in right now.

United fans are calling for Sesko to start each game, and there is a strong chance that he is selected in the line-up against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Who was your Man Utd MAN OF THE MATCH vs Everton?

Let us know why!

Sesko’s season record

Sesko is averaging a goal every 160 minutes for the season. That’s a big improvement from where it was at the start of 2026.

Erling Haaland’s season record is a goal every 101 minutes for City. And while Sesko is a little behind that, his current rate of 46 leaves the Norwegian in the shade.

Since January 1, no player in Europe’s top five leagues has a better minutes-per-goal ratio than Sesko.
