Manchester United fans are eager to see new signing Benjamin Sesko in action.
It has been a long time since Manchester United had a reliable goalscorer up front, after ultimately deciding an upgrade was needed on Rasmus Hojlund.
United recently announced the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, securing the 22-year-old striker in a deal worth an initial £66 million.
Sesko was introduced to the Old Trafford faithful ahead of the team’s final pre-season friendly of the summer as the Red Devils beat Fiorentina on penalties.
Ruben Amorim has yet to decide whether to give Sesko his United debut in the Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday, especially after missing the entirety of pre-season with the Reds.
After beginning work with his new teammates at United on Sunday, Sesko conducted his first interview with club media.

It’s always an exciting prospect to see new signings gel in competitive fixtures.
Sesko will be hoping to familiarise himself with his new teammates over the coming months as United plan for an improved season after finishing 15th in the Premier League.
The Slovenia international was asked about his playing style in his first interview and he explained some of his biggest strengths after establishing a name for himself in the Austrian and German Bundesliga.
The young striker explained how he likes to try to get on the end of crosses, which will be music to Bryan Mbeumo’s ears, after the former Brentford striker racked up the most crosses in the Premier League last season.
Mbeumo completed his move to United earlier this summer after the club spent over a month chasing the Cameroon international.
“I’m kind of the guy who is ready to attack, to be in front. If there is a space behind to run in,” Sesko told MUTV.
“Of course if there are crosses, it’s always going to be nice, I’m always going to be there and I think that is what is important.”
Another player who can benefit from Sesko’s ability to score goals from headers is Patrick Dorgu, who enjoyed an impressive pre-season.
It bodes well that Sesko scored eight headed goals during his two years at RB Leipzig.
Rasmus Hojlund’s heading stats
Hojlund managed just 10 goals in his second season at United, after scoring 16 in his debut campaign.
None of Denmark international’s 26 goals have come from headers.
That may help explain what type of striker Amorim was targeting this summer because many elements of Hojlund’s game need to improve if he is to lead the line for United.
Hojlund has scored just one headed goal in his senior career for Copenhagen during the 2021/22 season.
