Benjamin Sesko believes Manchester United deserved a win against West Ham after his fifth goal in six games rescued a late point at the London Stadium.
It turned out to be a hard-fought draw between Manchester United and West Ham on Tuesday night.
West Ham’s best player on the pitch was Tomas Soucek, but thankfully, his opening goal was cancelled out in stoppage time by Benjamin Sesko’s equaliser.
The result means United remain fourth in the Premier League, after Chelsea threw away a two-goal lead to draw with Leeds at Stamford Bridge.
Sesko’s late goal will raise further questions about whether he deserves a start, after being benched for Michael Carrick’s first five games in charge.

Should Sesko be starting more games for United?
Up until now, it was argued that Carrick shouldn’t change anything while United were winning games.
United played with less intensity and looked too cautious in the first half, before conceding just five minutes into the second half.
The highlight of the game – from a United perspective – was Sesko’s beautifully executed strike in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

It was two points dropped as far as Sesko was concerned at full-time.
Despite an underwhelming performance from the Red Devils, impact substitute Sesko argued that the fighting spirit displayed by his teammates made their performance worthy of three points.
Unfortunately for United, that wasn’t the case and they had to settle for one point.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, Sesko said he was happy with his finish but not the final result.
“I am happy with my finish but not happy with the draw,” Sesko said.
“I know we deserve the win because we were fighting. Unfortunately, some days you are a bit unlucky. We were fighting in the end and got a draw, which was important.
“We are a great team together. We are working together no matter what is happening, whether we are behind or in front, we are always fighting.”

West Ham are in a relegation scrap, but Carrick will try to find the positives from picking up another point on the road.

Carrick and his coaching staff will hope that the Slovenian can continue finding the back of the net because it will help United win more matches between now and the end of the season.
The 22-year-old scored in the 94th minute of United’s 3-2 win over Fulham.
Sesko’s equaliser against West Ham came in the 96th minute.
