Manchester United have given people more reasons not to trust the team this season, than to expect success with any confidence.

Nobody has been asking the same kind of questions 12 months on, with Erik ten Hag even finding there is speculation over his job, warranted or not.
This weekend there is a pivotal game ahead when United host Tottenham at Old Trafford, with the potential to climb above Ange Postecoglou’s side in the Premier League table.
Alejandro Garnacho backed to produce
BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton is tipping Tottenham to win against Manchester United this weekend, despite the Red Devils holding home advantage.
He says this is because he views United as too unpredictable, and only feels there is one player the team can rely upon to ‘turn up’.
He told the BBC: “There is a possibility Tottenham’s approach might suit United, and Alejandro Garnacho seems to be growing in confidence every week. He will be a threat but the question is how many of his teammates are going to turn up?”
It’s a fair question, with Garnacho the team’s best player in recent matches, at only 19-years-old, with 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo a close second.
Garnacho celebrates player of the month, again
Alejandro Garnacho is celebrating being voted as Manchester United’s player of the month.
Garnacho won the award for the second month in a row, following a strong end to December.
He wrote on Instagram: “It’s nice to win this trophy 2 times in a row. Thanks for your support ALWAYS! ❤️🖤 Ready for Sunday!”
The match against Tottenham is Manchester United’s biggest game of the month, and a strong performance could put Garnacho in pole position to win the award for a third successive time.
