Aurelien Tchouameni says Christian Eriksen "has a lot of quality"

Real Madrid and France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has lavished praise on Manchester United playmaker Christian Eriksen.

The Denmark midfield maestro was at his influential best in last night’s 2-0 UEFA Nations League win against the World Cup holders.

The 30-year-old, who joined the Red Devils on a free transfer in the summer, looks to be getting better and better with every passing game.

Having scored a stunner in Denmark’s 2-1 defeat to Croatia on Thursday night, United’s number 14 ran the show against Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus side at the Parken.

Denmark’s number 10 created eight chances against France as he showcased his full range of passing qualities.

Aurelien Tchouameni says Christian Eriksen “has a lot of quality”

Playing against the former Ajax, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Brentford man for the second time in his career, Real Madrid’s summer signing Tchouameni was left in awe of the Scandinavian star.

Speaking via Tipsbladet, the former Monaco man said: “They definitely have a good team. Eriksen has a lot of quality.”

Having lost both of the clashes against Eriksen’s Denmark, Tchouameni will be hoping for a change of fortunes come this winter’s World Cup with the two nations being drawn in the same group.

While the 22-year-old looks set to play in his first World Cup, Eriksen is gearing up for his third.

With 117 caps and 39 goals to his name, Eriksen will no doubt be looking to cement himself at the top of the all-time appearance list and goalscoring charts by the time he pulls the curtain down on his international career.

Eriksen currently sits fourth in Denmark’s most capped players list and he’s 12 appearances away from matching Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel who leads the way.

With plenty of years seemingly left in the tank, Eriksen is 13 goals away from becoming Denmark’s joint all-time top scorer.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping his second Manchester United signing can maintain his impressive form come Sunday’s Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
