Antony has accused Ajax of unlawful behaviour ahead of his 2022 transfer to Manchester United.
The Brazil international made an £85 million switch from Ajax to Manchester United during Erik ten Hag’s first summer at the club.
Unfortunately for Ten Hag, Antony’s transfer was used as a stick to beat the Dutchman with, considering he has been labelled a flop at Old Trafford.
Antony made an immediate impact by scoring on his debut in a 3-1 win over Arsenal before his form dipped spectacularly, although he scored again during a defeat to Man City.
To make matters worse, Ruben Amorim has been unable to get the best out of him since becoming United head coach earlier this season.
United take on Arsenal in the FA Cup third round on Sunday, and it remains to be seen if Antony will get a place in the line-up.

Antony takes Ajax to court
Antony was given three fines by Ajax for missing training without the club’s consent ahead of the move as the Brazilian became frustrated with how long the deal took to materialise.
The fines came out of Antony’s final pay cheque once the transfer was completed.
The case has been ongoing ever since Antony left Ajax over two years ago.
Antony is now suing Ajax for ‘unlawful’ behaviour, according to Algemeen Dagblad, with the winger said to be owned ‘a few hundred thousand euros’.
The hearing began on Monday, six months after Antony had first contacted an arbitration committee.
A verdict is expected within four weeks.
Antony must find a way to perform despite financial distractions
It doesn’t bode well for Antony that he can’t get into the United first team while he tries to claim back money from Ajax.
The 24-year-old should be focused on his football and getting back to his best form in a United shirt.

Antony’s value has dropped since joining United due to his underwhelming form. That said, reports in Greece suggest Olympiacos have been in contact with United over a possible loan deal.
The lack of interest will likely upset Antony and his entourage, but he can’t be surprised after two years of struggles.
