Manchester United winger Antony says it is an honour to share the pitch with teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo scored United’s winning goal at Goodison Park to help the Red Devils to an important 2-1 victory.
The goal was the 700th club goal of Ronaldo’s illustrious career to date, a stunning achievement.

Antony responds to Ronaldo
Antony posted on Twitter after the game to congratulate Ronaldo on his milestone goal.
He wrote: “What an honor for me!! Congratulations, @Cristiano !! Another great brand in a career full of achievements and achievements!! May we enjoy this even more together!!”
Antony had scored United’s opening goal, the third strike he has managed in three Premier League matches for the club.
He separately posted on Instagram to toast his own achievement, promising there is plenty more to come.
Ronaldo has 144 club goals for United, and so Antony has a long way to go to catch him up. But if he sticks around long-term, spending his peak at Old Trafford, he may have a chance, even if he may not continue his goal-per-game record.
United’s players were in good spirits after this crucial away victory, which was the perfect way to bounce back after last week’s defeat to City.
The team have recorded two away wins since the derby loss, and now have a run of three home matches, beginning with Omonia this coming Thursday night.
