New Manchester United signing Antony has promised to bring passion to Manchester United after he was unveiled by the club.
The Brazilian had been pushing to secure a move to Old Trafford, and has been supporting new manager Erik ten Hag’s progress at the club.
United have won two games in a row after beginning with two defeats, hoping to win a third tonight.
The wins began with a memorable 2-1 victory at home to Liverpool last month, with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford scoring the goals. Antony was cheering United on from afar.

Antony says he celebrated Manchester United win

Antony told the club website he was passionately cheering the team on.
He explained he was particularly impressed with the passion shown by the players.
He said: “When United scored I celebrated as if I was a fan in the stands. I watched the game closely and attentively, what stood out was the desire, the unity of the team, the fire in their bellies, the desire to play.
“That’s what delighted me about the team. I absolutely watched the game, every minute of it and was really happy with the win and celebrated a lot.”
Erik ten Hag has been reshaping the United team as he desires, and Antony says he can already see the impact the former Ajax coach is making.
He said: “His tactical knowledge, game strategy, attacking play and pressing game that I know very well after working with him for two years.
“With Erik’s style, I was always watching Manchester United from home and I could see this style and see myself here working with him again. What really stands out about Erik is his intelligence.”
Antony will be key to United continuing to improve. Ten Hag explained how his Ajax sides were more dynamic with the Brazilian available.
He will bring his passion to the pitch, and hopefully Manchester United can give him more to cheer tonight against Leicester.
