Antony has paid tribute to the fans that implored him to join Manchester United with messages on social media throughout the summer.
The Brazilian will reunite with his former Ajax manager Erik ten Hag and the Red Devils paid the Amsterdam giants £81m to sign their former number 11.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the option of a further 12 months being inserted in his contract.
The nine-time Brazil international becomes Ten Hag’s fifth summer signing, and as well as being reunited with his former manager and teammate Lisandro Martinez, Antony will link up with fellow Brazilians Fred and Casemiro.

The former Sau Paulo whizkid, who was brought to Ajax by Ten Hag two years ago, won’t be available to make his debut against Leicester City tonight.
But he could make his bow in Sunday’s blockbuster clash against league leaders Arsenal at the Theatre of Dreams.
With Ajax digging their heels in and being reluctant to lose another of their star names this summer, Antony wasn’t willing to miss out on a dream move to Manchester United this summer.
Antony went on strike and refused to train with the Dutch powerhouse and wasn’t a part of Ajax’s last two matchday squads.
Just like Frenkie de Jong, whenever Antony posted on social media, the comments were bombarded with messages of him being implored to join Manchester United.
The Brazilian has revealed that those comments from the passionate Manchester United fanbase did not go unnoticed.
In fact, United’s second most expensive signing of all time paid tribute to those fans on Instagram and he declared that the outpour of affection he received helped him push for a move to the twenty-time league champions.
