Manchester United striker Anthony Martial didn’t feature against Cadiz or Real Betis during his loan spell with Sevilla last season.
United’s number nine is a vital part of Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils side, and when the Frenchman has been fit and available, he’s shown his importance.
Despite picking up three separate injuries in the time that the former Ajax manager has been in charge of the twenty-time league champions, the 27-year-old has four goals and two assists to his name this season from seven appearances.
Despite starting just three games across all competitions, the former Monaco starlet has scored more goals than a certain Cristiano Ronaldo this season.
Anthony Martial didn’t feature against Cadiz or Real Betis during Sevilla loan

The 30-time France international, who missed out on a spot in Didier Deschamps Les Bleus World Cup squad, has turned his Manchester United career around following the arrival of Ten Hag.
Prior to the 52-year-old taking the reins at Old Trafford, it was unclear whether Martial would form part of the three-time Eredivisie winner’s plans.
But after impressing on Tour 22, the Frenchman has become integral to what Ten Hag is trying to build at the Theatre of Dreams.
It was only back in January that Martial left the Red Devils to join La Liga giants on loan for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign.
Having made one substitute appearance under interim boss Ralf Rangnick, Martial was keen to secure first team football elsewhere.

But the mercurial Frenchman failed to shine during his time at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
He scored one goal in 12 appearances and never played a full match under former Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui.
Martial wasn’t part of Sevilla’s squad for the games against Manchester United’s upcoming opponents Cadiz orReal Betis.
The clash with Betis was eagerly anticipated as they are Sevilla’s rivals, however, Martial suffered the first of three injuries the week before the fixture in February, which his team won 2-1.
Then another injury caused Martial to miss the April game with Cadiz, which ended a 1-1 draw.
Unlike earlier in the year, Ten Hag is likely to unleash his number one striker for the clashes against the La Liga opponents.

Martial is one of the most senior players in United’s 29-man youthful squad that have travelled to Spain for a winter training camp.
With Ronaldo no longer at the club, it seems that Martial has the number nine position nailed down if he can stay fit.
But after not facing Cadiz and Betis last season, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Martial get on the scoresheet against the La Liga sides over the coming days.
