Manchester United signed off for the winter break in style with a dramatic late winner against Fulham.
Alejandro Garnacho’s injury time strike sealed a 2-1 victory, to the delight of the overjoyed players.
United’s players huddled together at full-time in a welcome sign of togetherness, showing the unity in a squad which contrasts with last season’s divided set of players.
The Red Devils’ stars celebrated the win on social media too, expressing their happiness at getting all three points.

Martial and Casemiro send messages
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro made a big contribution to the victory with a tackle to begin the attack for Christian Eriksen’s goal in the first half.
It was a contribution described as ‘enormous’ by former United ace Louis Saha on Sky Sports at half-time.
Casemiro sent a message after the victory showing his excitement at the manner of the team’s dramatic late victory.
Casemiro’s message was followed by striker Anthony Martial, who was making only his second Premier League start of the season.
Martial lasted 72 minutes, replaced with goalscorer Alejandro Garnacho. He made a point of thanking the travelling supporters.
Goalscorer Christian Eriksen also left a short message, showing his delight with the late victory.
United sign off for the break in fifth place in the Premier League, a solid platform to kick on from, especially considering the team’s horror start after the first two matches.
