Andreas Pereira is determined to get one over Manchester United on Sunday.
Manchester United are back in FA Cup action when they take on Fulham at Old Trafford.
After beating The Cottagers twice already this season, United will go into the game as favourites to qualify for the quarter-finals of football’s oldest competition.
United knocked out Arsenal and Leicester City out in the previous rounds.
As holders, after beating Manchester City in last year’s final, United know that defending the FA Cup this season will see them match Arsenal’s record of 14 triumphs.
Fulham will be giving themselves every chance of getting result given United’s dire position in the Premier League (14th) and overall inconsistency on the pitch.
In the league, United are currently 13 points behind Chelsea in the final Champions League position.

Andreas Pereira wants revenge against Manchester United
Former United midfielder Andreas Pereira claims the Fulham players will be fuelled by the anger that still exists from their 2023 FA Cup exit at Old Trafford.
The Brazil international, who spent 10 years at United before joining Fulham, admits they haven’t forgotten about previous ties between the two teams.
There was controversy in the 2023 FA Cup tie after Fulham threw away a one-goal lead with 20 minutes left on the clock. The referee took the headlines that day after issuing three red cards in the space of a minute.
Pereira also referenced the two narrow defeats Fulham suffered against United in the Premier League this season.
“I’m looking forward to it,” Pereira told FFCTV. “For me, it’s going to be a particularly special game. We still have the feeling from the first year I was here, what happened.
“For sure, we’re going to be prepared for everything. It’s a special game, a special place for everyone I think.
“We played United twice this season and maybe they came out a little lucky. We learned a lot from these two games and I’m sure the players have extra fire in the belly to go against them.”
Manchester United record vs Fulham in the FA Cup
The Reds have enjoyed facing The Cottagers in the FA Cup, boasting an impressive record that Amorim will want to build on this weekend.
Amorim is new to the FA Cup and will be learning more about it as time goes on.
One stat is he will be made aware of is United have progressed from their last nine FA Cup ties against Fulham.
Moreover, United have also lost just one of their last 21 meetings with the London outfit.
Pereira played in that win as Fulham overcame United with a 2-1 victory in the 2023/24 season.
