Andre Onana has revealed the message that all Manchester United players agreed on during their 2-1 Premier League win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Sunday.
Rasmus Hojlund scored a stunning brace to put Manchester United 2-0 up inside the opening 10 minutes, as the Red Devils made a sensational start against Luton Town.
However, United’s momentum began to wane and Carlton Morris pulled Luton Town back into the tie after he nodded past Andre Onana from close range in the 14th minute.
United fans had mixed feelings over Onana after Morris scored, with some supporters quick to blame the Red Devils No 1 for conceding against Luton Town.
Fortunately for the Red Devils, Luton Town were unable to score an equaliser and Erik ten Hag’s men maintained their unbeaten run since the start of 2024.
United’s latest Premier League win has Erik ten Hag’s men three points behind fifth-place Tottenham and five points adrift from fourth-place Aston Villa.
The Red Devils have won four of their last five Premier League matches, with United undefeated in their last seven fixtures across all competitions.

Onana reveals message Man Utd players agreed on
Luton Town came ever so close to snatching a Premier League point against Manchester United in the dying stages of the match at Kenilworth Road.
Ross Barkley’s header rattled the United crossbar after the former Everton and Chelsea man connected with an injury-time corner.
Speaking after the match, Andre Onana revealed that United players were determined to not let Luton Town pull the scoreline level in injury time.
The 27-year-old United star said that all of his teammates agreed that they needed to defend the corner “properly” to ensure that Luton Town did not snatch a point.
“This is giving us more confidence [winning ugly],” Onana told MUTV, as per the Manchester Evening News.
“We are happy when we win this kind of game because these three points are very important for us to fight to be in the top four.
“But like I have said, it is always going to keep us together. At the last corner from them, we were all together saying: ‘Guys, this is the last one, let’s defend it properly.’”
Onana welcomes Man Utd result
Onana, who has faced criticism this season following his arrival at Old Trafford last summer, insisted that Luton Town are a tough side to face at Kenilworth Road.
According to Manchester United’s official website, the Cameroon international said his teammates are “all happy” to secure a win over a resilient Luton Town side.
“We play against a difficult opponent, small pitch,” Onana said.
“They are tough when they play [at] home and we expected a difficult game. But like I always say, the quality is there.
“I’m happy for the victories and, hopefully, we continue this way this season.”
Onana added: “This is giving us more confidence. We are all happy, you know, when we win, especially this kind of game.
“Because these three points are very important for us to fight to be in the top four.
“But like I said, it’s always going to keep us together. This is just a strong motivation for us and makes us very happy.”
