Ander Herrera has come forward to express his hurt at Manchester United’s defeat to Liverpool.
Herrera was part of the side which lost 3-1 at Anfield, with United outplayed by Jurgen Klopp’s side.
United’s players have been quiet on social media following the defeat. Herrera is the exception.

He posted an emotional message to his Instagram page, which was liked by teammate Matteo Darmian.

Today has been difficult day for all those associated to Man Utd, but I believe that we should continuing expressing ourselves even on bad days like today. Our fans deserve it. All of us that make up the first team are responsible for this situation and all of us need to play our part to improve it. I don’t think there is any other way other than hard work and effort, and I’ll continue giving my all until the last day that I wear these colours.
Thanks to all of you that support us in the hard times as well as the good

 

United signed Ander Herrera in 2014 for £29 million.
After a not featuring much early in the season he has become a regular under Jose Mourinho over the past few weeks, preferred to Paul Pogba.

Herrera’s passion comes through off the pitch with his words as much as it does on it.
It will be interesting to see if he keeps his place for the tie away at Cardiff next weekend.
For the tricky away tie, United will need players with fight. Herrera ticks that box.
