In a round of quickfire questions on Sports Direct football’s Instagram, Amad was asked precisely that question and he didn’t hesitate.
Amad named Lisandro Martinez and Diogo Dalot as the two hardest trainers at Old Trafford, two names that probably wouldn’t surprise anybody who follows the club regularly.
Dalot is a model professional in every regard while Martinez has been unlucky with injuries but regularly set the standards on and off the pitch when he was available.
Therefore, it is no surprise that they’ve been picked as the hardest trainers at the club, as their improvement speaks for itself.
Ruben Amorim has a core to build around
Talent on the pitch is all well and good but what makes an elite team tick is that talent combined with flawless mentality off the pitch.
The intangibles like professionalism and determination set the standards for success and Amorim has successfully managed to reset the culture in that regard.
